Mira- My dear, sweet friend....

I got some very DEVASTATING news on Friday... My dear friend, Mira... lost here long battle with cancer- Leukemia... she was only 27.

I have learned some hard lessons in life.... one of the hardest being my own beloved mom's lost battle to breast cancer almost 6 years ago... Nov. 30, 2005.

Mira fought as hard as my mom, and was just as positive and inspirational as my mom.. Two extraordinary women- two incredible woman--- why did they have to lose their lives to this HORRIBLE MONSTER called CANCER??

I will NEVER IN M LIFE understand why the good people leave our lives early... It's just so unjust and unfair- that is the way life is sometimes - it's snatches away the one's we love the most.

My heart is aching for my dear aching, I feel so sad and devastated... Mira, your family and friends love you so much and your shining light shines on and on--- even in your absence,,,

I love you very much my dear and cherished friend... I am thankful for all of the wonderful times we spent together and all the memories I will keep close to my heart...

I love you dear Angel Mira....

Hi All...

Sending these photos to fellow photo buffs and peeps who like my photography to get an opinion
from you all... I'm taking my passion for photography- one step 'beyond' and doing something I have ALWAYS wanted to do-- PHOTO EDITING-- which I call "FOTO ART".... It's my creative/artistic expression- and it's MY OWN-- so it's not like anyone else's that I know...

I'd really like to hear what you think-- not in terms of specific details.. but just overall/general details if you
think the photos are nice-- fun - artsy/fartsy and what not.. I'm just starting, so give me a little time to feel my
way around.. Thanks for your input, it's much appreciated...

Freddie Mercury

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mercury, who was a Parsi born in Zanzibar and grew up there and in India until his mid-teens, has been referred to as "Britain's first Asianrock star".[7] In 2006, Time Asia named him as one of the most influential Asian heroes of the past 60 years,[8] and he continues to be voted one of the greatest singers in the history of popular music. In 2005, a poll organised by Blender and MTV2 saw Mercury voted the greatest male singer of all time.[9] In 2008, Rolling Stone editors ranked him number 18 on their list of the 100 greatest singers of all time.[6] In 2009, a Classic Rock poll saw him voted the greatest rock singer of all time.[10] Allmusic has characterised Mercury as "one of rock's greatest all-time entertainers", who possessed "one of the greatest voices in all of music".[11]Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara (Gujarati: ફારોખ બલ્સારા‌), 5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991)[2][3] was a British musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. As a performer, he was known for his flamboyant stage persona and powerful vocals over a four-octave range.[4][5][6] As a songwriter, Mercury composed many hits for Queen, including "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen", "Somebody to Love", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "We Are the Champions". In addition to his work with Queen, he led a solo career, penning hits such as "Barcelona", "I Was Born to Love You" and "Living on My Own". Mercury also occasionally served as a producer and guest musician (piano or vocals) for other artists. He died ofbronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS on 24 November 1991, only one day after publicly acknowledging he had the disease.
