Two weeks post surgery and all is great!!

Hi Everyone....

Just writing to say that all has been going wonderfully with my post-op recovery-- I'm feeling VERY full of energy like never before!!! I have been doing a lot of walking... because it's the only real "exercise" that I'm allowed to do for at least a month- six weeks... maybe longer... and I have no problem walking- but still staying in my comfort zone. don't worry!

I get to start using the public transport for 'short' trips - (up to Paris I go) starting at the end of August and go back to my doctor on September 5 for a follow up check up...
Other than that- I've been occupying my time with walking, dextoxing, and watching movies.

Hope you are all having a great end of the summer... Leesa

You look great Leesa! One of my girlfriend from work needs to have surgery. She is going to go to France to have it done as it is cheaper.
Walking is a wonderful exercise. Just don't forget to take your camera.

Leesa, I'm only commenting because I noticed that no one else had commented and I didn't want you to feel all sad that no one had commented - thus, my comment!

If anyone else comments whilst I'm commenting and you have to decide which (if any) of the two comments to keep - please feel free to consign my comment to the trash bin, bearing in mind that the comment originated in a desire to be able to go to sleep tonight knowing that you wouldn't be comment free!

All the best

Keith

P.S. When are you going to come round and cook pancakes again?

P.P.S. I do apologise if that last comment was slightly Belly Centric but, that's where my brain resides!

Hehe- Keith.. Thanks so much for your kind comment- that was very thoughtful!! I will definitely be keeping your comment... and I appreciate that you thought to write it! That said.. I hope that when things in my belly are doing much better, that Alex and I will take a road trip out there to visit you guys and have pancakes and all.. YUM!!

Take care and see you on the blogs!!

You look fantastic Leesa! I'm glad to hear that things are going well and that you are enjoying the walking and movies. I can't believe you didn't know who Ryan Gosling is though! Didn't you see The Notebook?!

Hi Diane..

I can't believe how well I have been recovering even just from a few days post surgery all the way until now.. It's really amazing and miraculous to me... I'm very blessed and fortunate.. Thanks so much for your comments... Leese

Nadage.. Wow.. Thanks!! I feel great, too.. with you know... a little discomfort... Hey.. if you friend would like the name of my surgeon, I'd HIGHLY recommend him... not expensive at all.. I was absolutely SHOCKED at how NOT expensive it all was...

Hey Mir...

Thanks so much and I really appreciate your comments and emails.. I think of you often, my dear!!
Oki, Yes.. I DID see the Notebook when it came out.. That was him?? He's a BABE.. Have to go watch that film again..

Thank you Leesa. I will let my girlfriend know. Her mother lives in Aix-en-Provence so she will probably go in a hospital somewhere in the South of France. She needs to have neck surgery. It would cost so much to have it done in the US. I have read that a lot of Americans go to Asia, Costa Rica to have surgeries as it is much cheaper. How sad!

Linda- Thanks so much! I do feel 'new' so you were definitely right.. I have quite a few months down the healing road.. I'm not jumping back into things quickly- need to have full healing and taking it slow and easy..
