Me with braids back in 2004
Yes, I had braids!! Extensions and I wore them for about a year or so... I really loved this hair style and it was a lot of fun... Young and sassy!! It got me a lot of attention, which I didn't mind.. I'm from Hollywood, after all! Here are a few pics of me back in August of '04, when I spent a month island hopping in the exotic and beautiful French Polynesia! It was always one of my biggest dreams to travel here. I visited 6 islands and did yoga wherever I went! What fun!! I put some pics up here but not all of the pics from my trip...

Snow again...
It snowed last night, but only lightly... It's clear out at the moment.. I even saw the sun!!!! WOW!! But, it's supposed to snow again this a.m., so we'll see!!

JD Salinger dies at 91
I read the "Catcher in the Rye" when I was about 17 years old! My mom gave it to me to read when I went away to college! I only read it once, but I know it was a cult classic. I have sometimes thought about the book, but the only memory I have is the character on a train.. That's it... Gotta read it again, I suppose! RIP JD!!! He lived a long life.

Me n' Justin...
Justin and I got together on Monday for lunch at Exki in Montparnasse. It's my fav. bio resto in Paris. Justin is leaving back to the States on Saturday morning so this was our chance to see each other before he leaves. It was really nice to spend some time with J... I will really miss him, though I know he will be back to visit us again, from time to time. In case you don't know Justin, you can read more about him HERE.

Chocolate cupcakes ...
I tried out a new chocolate cupcake recipe which came out pretty good according to everyone-- I actually didn't eat one crumb of these delish looking things! I'm sticking to my liver cleanse... so, NO SUGAR for me!
I brought some cupcakes to the gym and gave them out to the people who worked there...
And, later one today, I brought some to my students... They had a REAL treat today!!
This morning I went over to Florence's home for breakfast with two other friends from the gym... Florence lives only 5 minutes from the gym, so we had a nice breakfast and conversation... then made our way over to the gym for our morning exercise classes...

These ladies are my French friends... Stella is Armenian, but has lived in France for many years.... I have a lot of French friends at the gym... It's nice to socialize with people at the gym because everyone is so friendly! It was a very nice morning!

Chez Patricia for a Galette des Rois....
Oki, so we are a little bit "after the fact" but hey! All the more reason to celebrate! We were invited over to Patricia's yesterday for her famous galette des rois... Because of my strict dietary restrictions for the next few months... I didn't taste this delish cake but everyone else said it was SCRUMPTIOUS! I believe them!! 
It was me, Alex, Animesh, Isasbelle and Paticia (and her cute cat) in attendance yesterday!! So nice to see everyone again!!
