Early SNOW-- HELLLLLLO WINTER!!!

Who would have thought by looking at the sky in distance that it was going to snow in just about 30 minutes... ??
I think it can only get colder from here on out-- I don't picture it 'warming up' in any way, shape or form! Winter is HERE/NOW- EARLY!!!!! What the _____ (fill in the blank yourself)?!!

Okay, I've been here for 4 years now and this is the earliest snowfall we've had in this region since I've lived here. Alex says it usually snows in late December but it's late NOVEMBER and the first snowfall was on Thursday the 26th and again on Friday the 27th!

Snow coming down at a steady rate at the gare de Sceaux. It was around 4:30 pm on Friday.

At the station- Bourg la Reine.. It was REALLY coming down close to 5 p.m.

And, going to my final lessons at around 5 pm...

What's going on here? Is it GLOBAL FREEZING?! hahhaha! Maybe so, but at any rate, it's COLLLLDDDD BRRR!!!

UPDATE: It snowed overnight (Sunday) and there's even more snow on the ground this a.m. I'll post those pics later on. Wednesday's forecast is snow ALL day long in our region! YIKEEESS!!!

Hello sweetie,

I got some precious rest over the weekend and feel a lot better already. Sometimes I just push myself so hard, partly because I have to for work, and get so exhausted.

Can't wait 'till next weekend;)

Hi Leesa and WOW, what GREAT photos!! We got caught out in the SNOW around St. Germain des Pres on Thursday - yikes! Not as much as your photos, though.

Maybe catch you around New Year's!? - we are mostly hibernating on our honeymoon here at the moment.

Cheers and STAY WARM! xoxoxox Mr and Mrs C and C

Interesting isn't it, but also here in Lazio each winter since we have been here seems to have got progressively wetter and the rare snowfalls arrive more often!

Hi Leesa!

OMG, I am sooooooo jealous of your early snowfall!!!

We got some (a little) on Thanksgiving Day, for about 20 minutes, then it turned to rain. I am so looking forward to our first BIG snowfall!

Beautiful shots!

Hey Ron...

I'm glad I'm noting all the snow days so I can go back and look at how much SNOW we had this season-- and I'll be SURE to look at all this when I'm in the hot climate in Costa Rica!!
Hugs to you! Happy New Year!
