Guten morgen, Bonjour and in my native tongue, Good morning!
My daughter spent a year after college teaching English at the University in Valenciennes, France. When I visited her there, she took me many places around Lille, but we never saw such an amazing hotel/inn. Please tell me how to find it. It looks fabulous.
You look terrific in PINK! I am so enjoying following your blog. I especially enjoyed reading the note from your student, Dennis. I recently worked as a Speech, Language Pathologist and I can only imagine how excited you were to hear the good news from him.
Thanks so much for leaving a comment... I like when my "luckers" come out to be seen-- Although, I couldn't find a link to your blog!
The hotel is actually not IN Lille itself, about 40 minutes from the city of Lille.. It was in a book of hotels that my husband had from work b/c he won a night's stay that we had to use up... It's called Gentilhommière
Let me know if you come back to France and you need to find places to stay... We know a few cute and inexpensive B&Bs in different areas in France...
That's great you were a SP.. I taught Spec. Ed for 7 years and 5 of those at high school level in ILS (self-contained classroom, but included in gen. ed. I LOVED it and we always had great speech pathologists... It was really great hearing back from my former student-- that was when I was a TA in general ed... long before sped.
