Ma vie en France
Wow Leesa that is amazing, now you know I will want to go there too :-)
I've never been there either. Did you eat at the restaurant? Was it good?Love your new blog theme, btw.
Hi Anne,I'd go back just for the view alone and a drink!!!Andrea-- I really liked it there.. Didn't eat in the resto- a bit expensive but it looked good! Thanks for the compliment.
These pictures are gorgeous. I can't wait to go to France next summer. Ramblings of a Small Town Girl
Best view ever of Notre Dame.
Those are fantastic pics! There's a great view from the Institute. I also think the building is really cook -- those windows are mesmerizing.
Very nice pics of Paris. I love the city and I think it's so "made-to-be-pictured".Antonio (Zaloette)
The openings are designed as a reminder of the finely chiseled openings one can find in buildings from the golden age of the Arab world (as one can find in Seville, Morocco and many other places). But those ones being contemporary and all are designed to open more or less depending on the outside light, just like a camera lens, or an eye.The food? Never tried it and why would I? We can find exactly the same food for one small fraction of the price all over Paris especially in the 10th, 18th, 19th, 20th.
I have never even heard of this place but the windows are quite amazing. Beautiful photographs Leesa. Diane
Hey D!I can ALWAYS count on you!!! In fact, I was hoping you would write back --- did you receive my telepathic message? heheh! When I saw the windows- the FIRST thing I thought of was a camera lens! I guess it's the photographer in me!!! Thanks for your info.. I wish you'd come to the picnic tomorrow with Y! What do you think?Kayla-- If you come to Paris next year...
