Eagle Paparazzi

As you all know, I've been following the growth and progress of the three eaglets in Norfolk, Virginia.

Well, I recently discovered the blog, "Eagle Paparrazi," by James Deal, who not only takes beautiful photographs of the eagles but he also has a wide variety of wildlife photography and some other categories on his blog. Please check it out - you're in for a treat!

Please check out James' BEAUTIFUL photography on his site,

Thanks James, for your lovely work!

Hello Leesa. Just wanted to give you an update on last year's eagle from NBG, Azalea. She has been spending quite a bit of time in North Carolina at some catfish hatcheries (easy pickings for the eagles at times and she isn't alone -). However, she has returned to Virginia and was tracked to an area called Stumpy Lake - where she apparently roosted for the night. It is very close to the Garden - so it might be possible she will visit her nest area again. For those who would like to track Azalea and Camellia, please visit: http://www.wildlifetracking.org/index.shtml?project_id=383

Take care Leesa. I very much enjoy your blog! Congowings

Hi Congowings!!

Sooo nice to hear from you and to have an update about Azalea... She really gets around... I sure hope she comes back and visits the garden and the nest area... Wow!!

Thanks for providing the link, as well!

I really miss watching the eaglets and writing my daily comments on the site... It felt like a little family, there... I can't wait until we get some more eggs in the nest....

I hope you're doing well and thanks for stopping by! It was really nice hearing from you!
I'm glad you enjoy my blog...
I will be traveling through Europe this summer and will be posting my pics here
