I love those kind of markets, so similar to the ones I visit in Toulouse, Bagnères-de-Bigorre and all villages I have the chance to enjoy in SudFrance.
Yes.. similar to the ones in Provence and soutwest France...
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!
Talita --- Hi and welcome to my blog! I appreciate you taking out the time to comment... It's always nice to meet new bloggers! Please come back again... I think these type of mushrooms are esp. good.. and GOOD for you, too!
Hi Philip...
I know.. Some are DEADLY!! But, of course... not the ones you buy at the markets..
Ron.. I hear ya! I am NOT a big musroom fan- I think because they're a fungus... maybe the texture, too.. But, the shitake are okay dried ... and I would like to try some that are not the standard ones - but cooked in a special way.. Take care my dear! Leese
Just a little 'hi' from Fort Myers. It is somewhat heart-stirring to be back here where I once lived. I'm thinking about you, dear friend back there... now home!
I think that one of the things I loved most about living in France was the open air marchés and checking out all the goodies; these mushrooms make you want to grab a bunch and make soup or something!
Thanks for visiting!! I just LOVE your blog!!! You're right! I think it's one thing I DO love most about France are the marchés... Glad you liked the pics and please do stop by again! Leesa
Hi Anne...
