I love those kind of markets, so similar to the ones I visit in Toulouse, Bagnères-de-Bigorre and all villages I have the chance to enjoy in SudFrance.

Best Wishes. Antonio (Zaloette)

Hi Leesa!

Ok, I'll have to pass on the mushrooms, but your photos of them are AWESOME.

For some reason, I just have never been able to aquire a taste for mushrooms.

I'm the one who PICKS them off the pizza - HA!

Lisa...

Well now... aren't they? Great variety!

Ron.. I hear ya! I am NOT a big musroom fan- I think because they're a fungus... maybe the texture, too.. But, the shitake are okay dried ... and I would like to try some that are not the standard ones - but cooked in a special way..
Take care my dear!

Just a little 'hi' from Fort Myers. It is somewhat heart-stirring to be back here where I once lived. I'm thinking about you, dear friend back there... now home!

I think that one of the things I loved most about living in France was the open air marchés and checking out all the goodies; these mushrooms make you want to grab a bunch and make soup or something!
