I have noticed that a lot of people go to the parks for their wedding pics in France, I guess other plans would be necessary if the weather is not up to standard!! Diane
Yes.. it seems to be popular but b/c of poor weather.. it's always good to have a "Plan B!" In California... outdoor weddings are the "thing," too.. Esp. on the beach or in a park... Take care and have a nice day! Leesa
Hi, Leesa, hope you are feeling better. Love the pics. Lovely couple and lovely setting. And you are right. Outdoor weddings in a natural, park-like setting or at the beach are almost "de rigueur" here in Southern California. Have a wonderful evening. Hugs.
I totally agree with you... Outdoor weddings are great!!! The park is a beautiful setting for a marriage!
Thanks for the compliments on my photos!!
Have a great Wednesday!!

Thanks for your well wishes.. I wish I could answer in the affirmative... but I now have bad bronchitis and asthma--- I'm asthmatic and it's very diff. to breathe right now...
I think the outdoor weddings... like at the Self-Realization Temple in Pacific Palisades... or any outdoor venue with a park... is nice... Take care, Leesa
Leesa, now that you mention the Temple of Self Realization in Pacific Palisades: in 1988, when my first book of poetry was published, I offered an Autumn Recital at the Los Angeles Press Club that was very well received by critics and art experts in the Spanish local and international media. All the views that I used as background-slides on stage belonged to this wonderful Temple. We spent an entire afternoon shooting pictures, waiting for the golden and blush colors of the Pacific sunset and also shot gorgeous pictures of this event (the sunset) from the Malibu Hills backyard of my in-laws. It was just breathtaking! Just thought I would share that with you. Hope you'll feel better soon. Kisses.
My dad used to take us there-- Shrine Lake -- as I was growing up ... It was a great place and felt like a sanctuary in the middle of LA.... I can imagine you got some beautiful pictures there! Have a great weekend.. Leesa
Lisa --- WOW!! Good for your son... I just took another look at your blog... You boys are very handsome.. They're going to be breaking hearts sometime soon... You have a beautiful family and you are very beautiful yourself!! You look like a true California beach girl-- were you on Bay Watch?
Hey Susa-- Thanks for the well wishes.. Getting there.... little by little!! New brides are so beautiful in their gorgeous dresses!! Take care, Leesa

Simply gorgeous! My son went to Paris after he graduated from High School last year. He was signed by a large modeling agency & was whisked off.
Needless to say my sheltered Orange County boy struggled in a foreign country!LOL!
I on the other hand would LOVE to go....maybe someday!
Love your blog, I'm following.
How cute! I always love seeing newly weds. All primped up and full of life's gorgeous hope.
How are you doing? Any better... Big hugs from me!
