Banana cake with whipped cream and passion fruit icing

So... here is my cake! It was REALLY moist and just perfect with the whipped cream. The passionfruit icing was a nice added touch...
Everyone loved it and it was a HUGE hit! In fact, no one at the table had EVER eaten banana cake in their life-- this is NOT the same as banana bread, by the way... Totally different taste and texture. Alex had never eaten it before, imagine that! If you want the recipe please check the post before this with the link to the recipe... I highly recommend this cake, though I didn't try it myself!

This looks so yummy! I remember Sunday morning banana breads when I lived in the U.S.... Moist and lushly fruity!

About your question... I don't use a filter when I take pics, but I do sometimes treat the photos afterward with Picasa.

Hi Anne....

Really?! Maybe it's an American thing, then... Have you had "hummingbird cake?" Would you like me to bake something while I'm at your place??? : )

Hi Philip!!

Thanks---- You're invited!!! Have a great week!

Hi Susa--

Thanks!! I was glad it was a huge hit.. Alex mom really loves my baking, and that's important because she's she a great cook... She loves my cooking, too!! : )
Thanks for the response about your pictures... They always look so beautiful!
Have a great day, my dear friend! Hugs!

Hey there Leesa,

Ahhh... I see where those passion fruit that you bought last week went !
An island person will ALWAYS love tropical fruit- even when the island is not in sight anymore !
