Thanks sooooo much, Cliff!

I was very pleasantly surprised to receive the TOP BANANA award from my blogging friend, Cliff in Ohio @ WIXY's Gone Bananas.
Cliff said a bunch of really nice things about me on his blog here and I was deeply touched and felt very honored to receive his kind words and this really COOL award!!

Merci beaucoup, Cliff! You just made my New Year a bright one!

Leesa, you are a TOP BANANA indeed! Congratulations on receiving this award from Cliff... Thank you again for visiting Pedro's Island. I posted a response to your very nice comment and here it is, so that you don't have to go there to see it: "Leesa, thank you; you are very sweet... I wish I could write in French as well as I write in Spanish and English... But I dare not. Cannot stand the thought of inflicting irreparable damage to the language of Verlaine, Baudelaire, Victor Hugo and Valéry... I can read and understand French pretty well, but I do not have all the vocabulary and knowledge of the language to write literary pieces at this time... I do appreciate the fact of you thinking I could do so. Happy New Year and may 2010 bring you and your loved ones all the best. Hugs."

Hi Michelle Dawn-- Thanks so much! It is really an honor to receive mentions like this... Very sweet!!!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a message!! Happy New Year to you dear... God bless!

Pedro-- Wow! Thanks for your kind words... I know that writing poetry is a special talent that comes from the heart and I know you write a lot of poetry and that it's best to read it in it's natural language because things (meanings/feelings) are always lost in translation...
Anyhow... that's great that you can understand French... speaking is definitely the most difficult part of learning/knowing another language, but when you get past that part, it's much easier... Just practice with your French speaking friends or join some conversation groups...
Best to you and your family in 2010!
