Last night I made applesauce for the very first time...
On Sunday, Alex and I were out in St. Remy la Chevereuse and we happened upon some apple trees on the side
of the road that were there for people to take ... We got about 5 kilos of apples of all sizes... worms and all... Sooo,
tonight.. Alex cut up .8 kilograms of apples and I made the applesauce.. No sugar... just some water, two lemon slices
some cinnamon and nutmet... It turned out sooo delish.. I ate some warm and it was sooooo good...
Not sweet, a bit tart, but I imagine it won't be so tart when it is chilled... It's smooth, thick and velvety....
YUMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

Hi Anne,
Yep! First time.. I'm not really a big fan of applesauce but after making my own, I'm sold!! It's sooo much different than what you buy in a jar... Noooo comparison!!
Tony--- I can imagine the mold growing on it by the time you get it in the mail.. However, the next time you are in Paris, I will gladly make you some FRESH!!!
Take care! Leese
So what happened to the worms??
Did they go into tequila? LOL
Hey Leesa,
Very good !!
You guys do like me; we can't use any sugar when we do homemade. Just cinnamon( we haven't tried it with nutmeg yet)
