Starbucks (Les Champs Elysées)

This is the Starbucks right downstairs from my chiropractor in Paris! (No, I haven't gone there).

Why do the Starbucks in France look so much better than the ones here in the US???

They're like a work of art!

David-- Yes, I know! I posted it thinking of you and your reaction... Hehehe!!! No, I actually just took a picture on passing it when I was at the chiro since it's in her building! It's an interesting looking one!

Ron-- There are some nice ones in the States. I do agree that the ones I've been to Paris have a certain, "Je ne sais quoi!!" Maybe it's just the fact that they are in "Paris!!" Take care and have a nice day!

Ron, Starbucks looks so much better in Paris, because what Starbuks does in Paris is to buy very nice and historical buildings to invade and deface Paris by placating their ugly logo everywhere and sell crap overpriced coffee and damaging café culture in France in the meantime...
And some people condone that...

That must be a really, really expensive chiropractor.

Oh, I thought Paris would be one place there would never be a Starbucks. Too many wonderful neighborhood cafes. Not that I don't like Starbucks. Whenever I'm traveling and I find one and stop by, I feel at home. Finding one in the middle of the Forbidden City and having a mocha and a sandwich is one of my best memories of China.
