Ma vie en France
I just gained a kilo....
Leesa, I loooove your French food photos! The desserts are gorgeous, as is Alex's guacamole!! (My son also makes brilliant guacamole and your post made me crave it!).See you soon I hope! Cheers and enjoy ...
My God, all that food !!I feel like Susan :)It looks like you had a great time with everyone at Elizabeth & Neil's apartment. Have a great day XX
This looks so delicious! Are they a special French recipe or are the brownies/cake Betty Crocker? :-) What prompted your move to Paris from San Diego?Great blog!
Susan--I have been exercising this week! I think I LOST a kilo!!!!! I know what you mean!Hi Barbara -- SOOOO much food... I made the refried beans and they came out really good! I didn't like the Mexican rice I made, though.. OVERCOOKED and I don't like mushy rice... The brownies were YUMMYYYYY and Tom's flan was TDF... Alex's salsa fresca and guac. were DELISH... and the drinks were YUM YUM, too!!!Hi Paris-Insider- Thanks for stopping by and commenting.... The brownies were just a brownie recipe I got off the net... They weren't even David Lebowitz's recipe which I usually use... these were cakey rather than fudgey... but OH so good with the dulche de leche!! My move to France (Paris banlieu) from San Diego was prompted by our (my hubby's decision and mine) for me to move to France- It was easier for me to move here, since I already spoke French than for him to move to the U.S. - jobwise, I'm speaking... I am very adaptable to living in other countries.... and have lived abroad in the past...Glad you enjoy my blog, please come back again sometime... Leesa
I love flan, which reminds me, I haven't made any in quite awhile.
Hi Starman--I love flan, too... I love it for its richness and smooth and creamy texture!
HOLY COW, Leesa!I just got a BUZZ!Hey, this post reminded me of something......when I worked for Illuminations candle company, we had a candle that was called, Dulche de leche and it smelled exactly like the food!Yummy!
