You can have them as pets? Who'd a thunk it!
Hi Deb...Noooooooooooo! Nothing like a centipede... These guys are NOT poisonous and are very fun... docile... friendly to handle and all... When I was a substitute teacher for elementary school... I used to bring Fred, my pet corn snake to visit the classrooms.. to educate kids about snakes... after that, I used to bring my pet tarantula... Chilean rose hair... and after I got the millipede--- I used to bring her... Heheh.. I had even MORE pets at home, mind you!!! These millipedes move super slow and they tickle your hands...WCS- Yes, I konw.. and I had a strange menagerie at home, too!!!
One of those creatures that make you want to say "Ughhh", seeing it slither !I would have had to get used to Millie.I like critters that have soft fur; it's a little more comforting !!Million $ question :Would Alex like one at home ??
OMG!! It's GORJUS!!!I have never seen anything like it in my life! :-OI want one!!! xx
OMG...how CUTE!!!!But can just imagine how many pairs of SHOES she has to buy!?!?!HAHAHAHAHA!
Barbara--- It's funny because I had a pet tarantula, too!! Those are pretty "furry" critters!!! I also had 4 chinchillas, a hedgehog, two snakes, two cockteils, a rat, and fish... At one time, I had two tokay geckos which were free in my apt... It was a real zoo chez moi... One day... I'll scan my pictures and post them on the blog... I really miss having pets!!!Alex likes animals but for me to have these pets again.. We'd have to have a PET ROOM where he could just stay out and they'd be apart from the rest of the house.. He just told me no chinchillas cuz they smell Not really, though.. but if we had a house or a bigger place, that would be okay... Giggles-- hehehehe... You have ALL sorts of COOL animals in 'Stralia... I'm jealous!!!Ron-- heheheheheheh!! That's really funny!! It's the Imalda Marcos of the animal world!!!
