Hossegor- beach town in the south of France....

Typical "beach town" which reminded me a lot of Pacific Beach/Mission Beach/Ocean Beach in San Diego.... Cute little area with lots of surf shops and beach gear.  I felt like I was transported back to California.  Viva ROXY!

I knew you'd like the area...
The sunset picture on my blog was taken just about 30 miles north of Hossegor...

I'm supposed to go on Wednesday, but the weather is supposed to be crap...

Hi Leesa,
I have never been in the Sud-ouest; I would love to go in the future. To see the area that makes the Hawaiians come from so farto surf in !

Enjoy ;)

Hi Everyone--

YES!! Definitely a quaint little beach town...
David.. The weather is pretty sucky today so we are hanging out at McDo for now... Lots of rain this a.m. but we already knew the forecast for a week now so no surprise... Maybe we can meet you and Y for a coffee here... A+ Leesa : )

Thanks for the invite Leesa, but I was not clear in my previous comment.
I meant going to the Coast, but not to Hossegor (actually I'm not a huge fan of the place)...

"my" beach is about 50 kms north of Hossegor...

Still not sure if I'm going...
I guess it'll be a last minute thing tomorrow morning...
