Ma vie en France
I had an internship in 2005 where I read tons of articles about luxury showers and everything new and great for bathrooms because the company I worked for was analyzing the public image of one company that makes showers like that. You can get bathtubs with changing colored lights for "light therapy" and super showers with aromatherapy. The French are really into balneotherapy and convinced that it can cure tons of health problems, which may be why these luxury showers/tubs are more popular here than in the US. I think Americans would look at that and say "But how do I take a normal shower? And how can I shave my legs?" Okay, maybe it's just me that says that! But then Americans buy products that solve problems, and the French buy products that make their life more luxurious.
They look nice, and I'm sure I would definitely enjoy it, but spending that much time in a shower isn't a top priority for me. I'm a military-shower man....rinse off for a few seconds...lather up...rinse off again......OUT!
If I had one of those I'd never leave...
