Hot off the CNN press! Jumping across the pond for a moment...

Which do you consider worse... or the lesser of the two evils, at least? Bottled water filled with toxins from the plastic or tap water filled with toxins? Take your pick. I just read this on CNN.com "A vast array of pharmaceuticals -- including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones -- have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans, an Associated Press investigation shows." HOLY FAUCETS, BATMAN!!!

My guess is that the news will drive down the prices of the tanking pharmaceutical stocks even further.

Why buy drugs when you can get them for free in the drinking water.

It could help out those people that have problems swallowing pills!

I don't think I would ever want to see the analysis of my water in my apartment here... I switched to bottled a while ago because it was so bad in my apartment.

Holy Over Reaction & Hoi Polloi to you too.
The reports are the result of the advance of science, now able to detect parts per billion in water.Another opportunity for yellow journalism.
Water used in Las Vegas is returned to th Colorado system and shipped indirectly to Los Angeles and San Diego; of course it is treated before it goes to homes. Try to remember, most bottled water comes from the municipal supplies, when it is processed for taste and bottled to consumers at great mark-up. And last year 39 million water bottles went into th trash. A small number are recycled into outdoor carpet etc, for show, most to land fills.None go back to bottlers.[[Aluminum cans do go back to metal refining and to new cans]]
